■  The HKIT is led by the Council which consists of a chairman and serval members representing various sectors of the industry.

■  The Council provides strategic guidance and leadership, sets overall direction and monitors organisational and managerial performance.

■  The Council meets monthly or more frequently as required for the conduct of business and the determination of issues.

■  The Council has delegated certain of its functions to committees.

■  The HKIT maintains a secretariat for implementation of the Council's policies and decisions.
